Yes! We offer a 7-day free trial with full access to the entire platform. After the trial, you can choose between two plans: Home User, which includes limited features, or Professional User, which provides full access. Check our features page for a complete list of features.
At launch, Scentarium will be available in English and German. Posts and comments in the Community will automatically be translated between these two languages. More languages are planned in future versions.
Both the annual and monthly subscriptions can be paid using all major credit cards or by invoice.
The 7-day trial is free and ends automatically after seven days – with no further obligations.
Scentarium is not a traditional app that you install – it’s a web application and therefore not available in the app stores. Yes, the subscription renews automatically based on your selected plan – monthly or yearly. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time in your profile under “Subscription.” You will continue to have access to Scentarium for the remaining paid period.After your subscription ends, you will no longer have access to the oils, recipes, studies, and community.However, your account, including your own recipes, notes, and saved data, will remain intact – so you can return anytime you wish.
The name Scentarium is inspired by the traditional herbarium – a collection of dried plants systematically documented to preserve knowledge for science, healing, and inspiration.Similarly, Scentarium is a place where information about essential oils are collected, organized, and presented.The word Scent refers to the essence released by plants, flowers, woods, and resins.The suffix -arium suggests a protected space – a sanctuary for knowledge, experience, and enjoyment.Scentarium is therefore:An archive of natural fragrances, a fragrant knowledge repository, an interactive journey through the world of essential oils.
